Recipe Book

Recipes in the game can be found in the inventory, crafting table, furnace, blast furnace, and smoker. The player can open the recipe book by clicking the Knowledge Book icon, which opens on the left side of the screen.

New recipes become available when the player meets certain conditions, such as being near water or gathering the required materials. Also, using a recipe while crafting automatically unlocks it if the "limited crafting" option is disabled (the doLimitedCrafting gamerule must be set to false). Commands for working with recipes start with a slash (/recipe).

Parrot

Parrots are friendly creatures that live in the jungle. They can be tamed and will perch on their owner's shoulder. Parrots can mimic the sounds of other creatures, including the hissing of creepers and guardians. They can pick up sounds within a 20-block radius, but sometimes they may mimic the sounds of creatures that aren't nearby. If there's a jukebox nearby, a parrot starts dancing and flying to the music. They can perch on various surfaces, such as trees or building rooftops.

Taming and breeding

All types of seeds can be used to tame a parrot. But if you try to tame it with a cookie, it will die. Parrots don't have babies - they can't be bred.

Concrete and Concrete Powder

There are now 16 different colors of concrete powder available, each with its own unique color. All of them are affected by gravity, and if unsupported, they will fall to the ground. Concrete powder is crafted from four blocks of sand, four blocks of gravel, and a dye. If concrete powder comes into contact with water, it hardens and turns into a concrete block of the corresponding color. Concrete also comes in 16 different colors and, unlike concrete powder, is more durable and has a smoother texture.

Glazed Terracotta

Glazed terracotta comes in 16 different vibrant colors, each with its own unique, intricate pattern. What makes this terracotta special is that it can be placed facing any of the four possible directions, allowing you to create different patterns. To get glazed terracotta, you need to smelt regular terracotta in a furnace.

Other Changes

Achievements

• Achievements have been removed and replaced with Advancements.
• The pop-up notification players get when earning an advancement has changed. The new appearance effect now has two color variants - yellow for regular advancements and pink for "advanced" ones.

Bed

• Can now be dyed in 16 different colors.
• You can now jump on them like slime blocks, without taking fall damage.
• Neutral zombified piglins will no longer disturb the player while sleeping.
• Has a matching color on the map.

Stairs

• Now connect to fences, glass panes, iron bars, etc.
• You can now place blocks on their sides as if they were on a full block (such as a lever, tripwire hook, torch, etc.).

Magma Block

• Ignited magma blocks can burn indefinitely (like netherrack).

Shulker Box

• Colors have been changed to match the colors of other items and blocks.
• The purple shulker box color hasn't changed.
