A cape in TLauncher costs money
HD skins, capes and switching the ads off are part of TLauncher Premium: $2.99 a month, $19.99 forever. In JustLauncher skins and capes are free, and there are no ads at all.
The same in both: Playing without a Mojang licence, a free base version, a built-in skin system, Forge, Fabric and OptiFine.
“Not documented” means the feature is not described on that launcher's own site. That is not the same as it being absent.
TLauncher and antivirus: what Malwarebytes says
Malwarebytes detects TLauncher as PUP.Optional.TLauncher, a “potentially unwanted program”. The detection page gives these reasons: it is a cracked launcher for Minecraft, it is illegal in most regions, playing through it breaks the Minecraft user agreement, and you risk getting other PUPs, adware or malware bundled with it.
That is not the same as “a virus was found in TLauncher”. PUP is a separate category, and a detection alone does not mean the installer contains malicious code. But the detection is real: Malwarebytes blocks TLauncher so that users can make an informed choice. If you use Malwarebytes, you will have to add the launcher to its exclusions.
JustLauncher slips no extra software into the installer and never asks you to switch anything off. If yours does flag us, write in and we will sort it out.

JustLauncher finds an installed TLauncher by itself. You only point at the folder by hand if it sits somewhere unusual.

NeoForge in TLauncher and in JustLauncher
NeoForge is a fork of Forge with its own line of builds for Minecraft 1.20.2 and newer. If a mod is released only for NeoForge, neither Forge nor Fabric will run it.
TLauncher supports NeoForge in two ways: through its TL MODS modpack system or with the installer from the NeoForge site. JustLauncher installs NeoForge inside the launcher, like Forge, Fabric and Quilt.
